For this month’s theme let’s ride the crest of the radio waves, and learn a bit about radio and Welsh broadcasting history! We’re please to announce a talk and interview with Bethan Elfyn, spanning a three decade career at the BBC. ‘Currently’ a Senior Content Producer running the Horizons / Gorwelion music project (a partnership between BBC Wales and the Arts Council) and new music presenter on BBC Radio Wales. Well known as event curator, champion, festival host and being the first Welsh female host on BBC Radio One.

Marconi, 90s Wales nostalgia, and where radio and music are at now will lead the conversation between Bethan and BBC colleague, Horizons’ producer, former S4C music host, Leni Hatcher.

We’ll end the session with a curated playlist of new music, working with the theme!
