We’re so excited that Paddington has arrived at Cardiff Castle as part of a UK and Ireland wide trail of 23 bear-y special statues, celebrating the release of the new film PADDINGTON IN PERU.
Paddington is a friendly bear and will need lots of company, so why not step into Mr. Gruber’s shoes and sit down for a chat, don’t forget to take a selfie.
LOCATION
- Paddington is located in the Public Square at Cardiff Castle. It is free for visitors to enter this part of the site.
DATES & TIMES
- Paddington doesn’t have a leaving date yet please so don’t worry; everyone will get a chance to spend time with him.

DID YOU KNOW?
- Paddington isn’t his real ‘bear’ name. He has a Peruvian name ‘Pastuzo’ (pronounced in roars) which he shares with his uncle.
- Paddington does not have a middle name.
- Paddington has two birthdays per year (just like the King)! He celebrates these on 25th June and 25th December.
